An evening stroll through the magical heath.
When a nor'easter blew across Maine earlier in the week, we were worried that all the beautiful foliage would disappear and our session for the weekend would look dull in the heath. But there really is something magical about that heath. With it's colorful boardwalks and unique low shrub ecosystem speckled with trees, I am certain it looks amazing all year round. We had a nice long session through the forest and through the heath that we were able to get photos in a variety of places. The "W" family is a very smart family and they brought assistants to help us carry supplies for baby, and also were wonderful assistants in capturing the little guys attention behind me! Thank goodness for grandparents!
The "W" family is such a beautiful, kind, and easy going family. I really enjoyed hanging out with them! The little guy was one of the happiest babies I've met; he was full of smiles, loved the tall grass, and I envision lots of adventures in his future. What a delightful evening we had! I ended up with a lot of photos during this session, and it was impossible for me to narrow my favorites down to a reasonable number so I had to have my husband help me choose which to share. Hope you enjoy the photos as much as I enjoyed taking them.
