A full session full of color.
I was over the moon when the "L" family decided to do a full session rather than a quick 20 minute mini session. These longer sessions allow us to explore and walk around together, it allows the family to relax and feel more them themselves, and it allows me opportunity to capture more genuine moments and candid photographs. I love full sessions, and I am so happy with how this one turned out! First of all, they have a beautiful family who are fun and full of silliness and joy. I love having the time to let the kids help me decide where their portraits should be and to incorporate some of their ideas for poses. Some favorite from this session were the ones hanging out in trees, the "family grub" photo, and the "V for Victory" pose the kids insisted were absolutely necessary. We had fun playing in the leaves, running on the paths, and checking stuff out. The other reason I love this session is just look at those colors! We were in our peak for foliage here in Maine last weekend, and the backdrop colors of these photos are just gorgeous!
